Description:
Despite the central positioning of green growth in Indonesia’s national development plan for 2020–2024, low-carbon development in Indonesia has taken a backseat following economic and social challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, the Low Carbon Development Initiative (LCDI) has led the production of a report aimed at informing the advancement of a low-carbon, green recovery and green economic transformation in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, in line with the global climate targets and in pursuit of a more robust, resilient, inclusive and sustainable recovery. LCDI is a national priority program of the Government of Indonesia as outlined in the National Medium Term Development Program (RPJMN) 2020–2024
